There are many ways you can get involved for this years Pig Walk Parade!
Deliver a performance or workshop!
We're looking to partner with local organisations, businesses and groups to share exciting local programming, from community choirs, to dance groups, to workshops and more! This is an opportunity to share and promote the brilliant work you do at a large scale community event. Get yourself featured in our programme handed out to visitors on the day.
Volunteer Event Stewards
Sign up to volunteer on Carnival Day as an event steward. We need volunteers to help set up, provide information, distribute leaflets, support performers and steward.

Perform in the Parade
Would you like to be part of the Pig Walk Parade? Join our team of volunteer performers, wear a fabulous costume and have fun entertaining the crowds!
Costume Fitting & Training - Sunday 12th April, 2pm - 5pm
Make at Home
We are creating 250 daisies for 50 metres of daisy chain bunting to decorate Longton town centre for the Pig Walk! Pick up a daisy making pack to make with your family or community group and bring your completed daisies back for us to add to the bunting.
Drop in to collect your making kit on Tuesday or Wednesday mornings, 10am - 12noon. Or contact us at val@urbanwildernesscic.com to arrange separately.

Creative Volunteer Workshops
Come to Creative Volunteers at The Moony Club and help us make colourful decorations & costumes! Free snacks & refreshments, friendly space, no previous experience required. No need to book, just drop in! Email val@urbanwildernesscic.com if you have any questions.
